Rebecca Rausch

Head Lizard, Founder in Minnesota, USA

With 30 years of marketing and creative leadership, I became a Creative Director at 23 and built experience across agencies, Fortune 500 brands, high-end print, signage and business ownership. Since founding Neon Lizard Creative in 1998, I have specialized in organic marketing strategy, cohesive brand identity systems and uncovering and amplifying the differentiators that drive recognition and growth. I now bring that experience to fractional leadership as a collaborative, servant-minded partner (with ego left behind long ago) and an established agency team available for execution.

Accomplishments

MN School of Beauty

Fractional CMO/Agency
MN School of Beauty
May 2021 - Present

Summary

Minnesota School of Beauty came to me with declining enrollment and the real possibility of closing. After several poor experiences with unreliable designers, I was their last-ditch effort. I rebuilt the logo, website and messaging, then launched a consistent organic social strategy. Today, classes have waiting lists, the school is growing significantly, and the owners report earning $8 for every $1 invested with us. No paid advertising, just cohesive branding, professional design and organic marketing executed consistently.

Becker Arena Products

Fractional CMO/Agency
Becker Arena Products
September 2018 - July 2021

Summary

Becker Arena Products brought me in when growth had stalled and the reason was unclear. I found 25 product lines operating with inconsistent branding, messaging and design, which weakened trust and hid the strength of the parent company. I unified every brand under one clear system across all platforms. Recognition, confidence and sales grew rapidly. Within three years, Becker moved into a major new facility and was acquired by Athletica, allowing the owners to retire comfortably.

NuSource Financial Technology

Fractional CMO/Agency
Nusource.com
October 2021 - Present

Summary

NuSource Financial came to me frustrated by inconsistent design, frequent errors and a brand that lacked cohesion. What began as on-call support quickly became a long-term retainer. We create and distribute a monthly newsletter, repurposing it into ongoing campaigns. I unified the website, sales collateral, trade show materials, mailers and promotions under one clear brand system and custom messaging. The company grew from roughly $30 million and later sold for $100 million. We remain part of the team, supporting continued growth through organic marketing.

Chula's Mexican-Latin Restaurant

Fractioinal CMO/Agency
Chula's Mexican & Latin Food & Spirits
July 2024 - Present

Summary

Chula’s came to us before the restaurant had fully defined its brand. I worked collaboratively with the founders (Father, Mother, Daughter) to curate the name, but the real impact came from shaping the unique messaging, positioning and personality behind their family restaurant concept. Together, we created the logo, brand identity and all digital & print materials, signage+. The pre-opening campaigns built strong community interest before the doors even opened. Since May 26, Chula’s has been packed nightly and has already expanded into lunch and catering, both far ahead of plan.
